An excellent question and then you responded as you did to the answerer you selected as the best answer. No loving kindness, compassion or understanding, no tolerance of others. It is one to realize the nature of the kami/gods and another to live such. Be well. Namaste.

Are we a part of God experiencing itself in infinite forms to know its true self?
Absolutely! Even though I have questions about God's existence - this is the most beautiful way I have heard God described.

My outlook is similar, I believe that I am created by the Universe (or God, if you prefer) so that it can realize itself.

Beautiful. thanks for the Question, and I apologize if I have offended anyone.
The answer is yes, but only partially. God has His own separate individual existence simultaneously. To be complete the Absolute Truth must have both experiences, the infinite and the infinitesimal.

God can experience the existence of our small lives, but we can't experience the infinite existence that God experiences until our consciousness is on the eternal platform.

Right now we are mostly on the gross, bodily platform of consciousness in which we work and think about how to eat nicely, how to sleep nicely, how to have lots of good sex and how to defend the wonderful living arrangement we have worked hard to get by continuing to work, obeying the laws, etc.

Some of us sometimes work on a slightly higher level of consciousness in the mental and intelligence spheres-- philosophy, religion, science, music, etc, but many times the end purpose of these pursuits is nothing higher than the upkeep and maintenance of the body also. .

It is extremely rare to find someone who works in spiritual consciousness. This consciousness is characterized by the person's complete dedication to his eternal nature. A pure soul has no material attachments because he/she realizes the ephemeral nature of the body.

If you know that you will be out of your apartment in 1 month, how much time and money are going to devote to decorating it? In the same way, we all know that although we are alive now, our bodies can die at any moment. How much time and energy should we devote to the living arrangements of the body? To live in this consciousness is the spiritual or eternal platform.

Once we come to understand our eternal personality and nature, we can begin to know something of the nature of God. Otherwise, speculating while under the cloud of illusion thinking we are the body or mind we currently inhabit is useless. God cannot be known from the consciousness of a dog. Dogs also like to eat, sleep, mate and defend themselves. If our consciousness is used for no higher pursuits than the dogs, then there is no question of understanding God, the Absolute Truth.

The human being has the facility of understanding his eternal nature and ultimately realize God. And it begins with hearing from a pure soul who has realized his eternal nature. If we hear from people who are in dog consciousness we stay in dog consciousness and if we hear from a God conscious person we can become conscious of God.

Please read the online Bhagavad-gita at the link below for more information.

We are one in quality with the Absolute Truth, just like drops of the ocean water have the same quality as the ocean itself. We can raise our consciousness and identify with God by knowing the eternal quality of our existence.
One of the most divine-experiences is the human one. Something about making mistakes, the pain that ensues, and being able to free-willingly choose different the next time; teaches us to love self and others more; somehow the Deities above, need to learn the divine human experience just as much if not more then we humans, theirs.
No, I would draw your attention to the part in Genesis where it says ';He walked amound the trees in the garden searching to the humans, when he found them he asked why they were hiding and she said ';Because we realised we were naked';.
The terms ';god'; and ';experiencing'; contradict each-other. This contradiction invalid your question.

You should put this question in ';religion';, not in ';philosophy';. There people would not anderstand this contradiction.
As we are all manifestation of the One God as the energy of the universe, the collective whole being the ';being'; of the Kami / god, such may be the understanding of such.

namaste
Sounds good to me. Each individual personality is God recreating Himself in the best form He can be.
we can experience in us. experience
yes, god itself is finding HIMSELF
Seems that way doesn't it?

Love and blessings Don
