If evolution is true, where are the transitional forms between fossils of extinct viruses?

viruses are not living creatures and thus do not fall under the theroy of eveolution although they do provide support for it. They mutate into different strains both in and out of the laboratory.

Viruses are not life forms. You're thinking of bacteria.

Also, WHICH fossils? There are fossils of everything from ferns to dinosaurs to trilobites to early mammals. Your question makes less and less sense the more I think about it. I think I'll stop thinking about it now.

Good bye.
However, virus fossils are evident in our genome.

It is incredibly unlikely that any organism will leave a fossil. Fossils are only formed under a certain set of conditions. Then it is very unlikely that a fossil will survive, so no the fossil record is not complete.
Did you know, Darwin’s visceral distaste for the false doctrine of “Hellfire” – not his belief in evolution - that raised doubts in his mind about the existence of God. No doubt the clergy of Christendom have a lot of answering to do with there twisted false doctrinal teachings that has put many off knowing about God!
Fossils of ....VIRUSES????????

Viruses do not fossilize, my fundy friend. Evolution is true, it actually happened. The evidence is unequivocal, and mountainous.
I don't know, I'm not a scientist, I'm an atheist who happens to be a dog groomer.

You might get a better answer to your question in the science/biology section.

Why do you think all atheists are scientists?
ROFL. Do we really need transitional fossils for the 'microevolution' everyone seems to agree on. I mean, we literally -see- them evolve. That should be unnecessary.
Everywhere. You can't have a species that is a morph between two. That certainly would not be a viable organism.
I don't think viruses fossilize very well. Fossils are usually only made of hard parts.
Here ya go. Meet Tiktaalik Roseae. a fish with feet.

All species are transitional and so are their fossils.

Evolution never sleeps.
I think your brain has fossilized.
