DNA codes for proteins and therefore enzymes. Enzymes control the production of carbohydrates.Is it true that DNA forms a code for the production of carbohydrates?

Is it true that DNA forms a code for the production of carbohydrates?
DNA codes for proteins which do, or assist, all of the required biochemistry for the body to live. A by-product of that biochemistry are fats...which are carbohydrates.
No, it forms a code for the production of proteins.
