Ive heard that when semen reacts with water, it forms a solid. Is this true?

I read that if a guy takes a shower to wash off semen, the water will react with it and will form a gel-like solid. If they are left to dry, then they solidify all the way? Was this true, or totally made up?Ive heard that when semen reacts with water, it forms a solid. Is this true?
Dude!!! Haha, its weird you asked this beacause I found out in the shower last nite. Yeah wierd I know, but we all do it so whatever. But yes it turns into like a very sticky, almost gel-like substance. If I could compare it to something it would be silly puddy haha.Ive heard that when semen reacts with water, it forms a solid. Is this true?
i definitely think this is true. i think the semen, after it dries, just acts as it would if it dried without contact with water. that is it would have solidified into a hard mess. only it would have thinned a little because the water or person washed some of it off. nothing serious.

although it does not become solid, it noticeably changes texture and clumps. semen contains lipids (fats) which are hydrophobic (do not mix with water) so, as it is a mixture of stuff incl. lipids (hydrophobic) it tries to make the least amount of surface area in contact with the water? i think...

no i dont think so
Well, if you are a guy, you can test that yourself easily-- just unload into a cup and add water. You'll see it may clump a bit, but doesn't solidify at all, washes away. And the clumping action lasts just a few hours, then it breaks down into liquids anyway.
no
I'm taking the empirical route - back in 15 minutes.
i've heard that if you masterbate in the shower and then get out shortly after you'll notice that it clumps.
It actually becomes chewable.
someones just screwing with you
Totally not true! Whoever told you this was trying to scare you or just be a jerk.
