Are there many 'gods' and one true God, or is there one true God who has many forms?

On the sixth day God created man. On the seventh day, man returned the favor.Are there many 'gods' and one true God, or is there one true God who has many forms?
I was watching a History documentary the other night about a primitive island culture near Australia. Nobody had visited them before, so when the Allies turned up in the 2nd WW, built runways and used their island as a base, they gave the natives food and goodies in return.





The natives thought the Allies were gods, they had never seen an airplane before. After the war the Allies went away, the natives built replica airplanes from brushwood and reeds and made offerings in an attempt to regain the gods favors. :)





There is much more substantiation that a more advanced human civilization or even Aliens visited, than there is for gods.

I don't believe there is a god in the common sense of the word god.


I believe that the gods people have invented are nearly as powerful as they claim to be because of the reverence people have for them, and all equal in that one is just as fictional as the other.
Let me give you my opinion of religion. one second.





There's a beach. Infinitely long. All the people in the world are on the beach. One guy draws a picture in the sand, calls it God. Another looks at the picture, tells him he's wrong, and draws another God. Yet another person looks at them, and draws a dozen Gods in the sand, and worships all of them








But God IS the beach. We cannot comprehend how all-inclusive He is, so we give him human attributes, and claim He only likes OUR religion, when in fact ALL our concepts of God are ';correct'; in their own ways.
There is one God who created a desire in each of us to acnowledge a higher being. All other ';gods'; are the results of mans desire to worship something other than the one true God.
1 god with many forms


It is like one destination with many paths


some call it nature


some call it godly


some call it unknown


some call it omnipotent being


all r same
The ONE true God, YHWH!





The god of Abraham Isaac and Jacob! The god of the Bible!
Yes! There is the Boss, and than the Chiefs for each department! In the non United Nations of religious believers!
One true God who is limitless. The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit is One.
no such thing as god


why are there so many..because they're all man made


but every religion will claim their god to be the one true god


All these gods and ZERO proof that any of them is real
One God in innumerable forms.
Fill a box with empty assertions and you'll find the box remains empty.
There is one true God.
ONE TRUE GOD THE TRINITY...others are myths....wing wang is blocking me...we know why
